I Think it's Real

Pony Pal Mila has a growing collection of horses and sometimes I wonder if I am seeing a true horsey girl emerging.

Then I see videos like this one. Check out her dress. I did not buy it for her and I could not be at the wedding with the rest of the family so I wasn't influencing what she wore.

That's my kind of dress! (I even asked Curt and Vanessa where they'd bought it, and then went online to see if they had any adult horsey dresses for me.)

By the time I was Mila's age (seven) the horsey gene was very evident and I had a collection about the size of Mila's. (Although not nearly so heavy on unicorns as hers is.)

Whenever I see Mila, it seems she has a horsey (or unicorny) tee shirt on, or horsey socks, or even a model horse that's she's playing with.

She's even begun "sculpting" her own pieces - this is Abby, and she's only charging me three cents for her. (I will be paying her more than that!)

I'm starting to think that the horsey gene is real in this girl. And that makes me smile.
