Re-enacting history has a long history of its own in my family.
This photo of my mother with her granddaughters Lisa and Jessica was taken at Theatiki in 1993. My mother was 65, the same age as I am now.
This is me at this year's Feast with Lisa and three of my grands - Lukie, Ian and Mila.(Check out Lisa's hat - it is her grandmother's, the one in the first photograph.)
Juxtaposing the two photos engenders a deep family connection back through time for me.
Which is what living history is so good at doing.
