The announcement had a video link to it with Stephanie Macejko and Jaime Potkalesky sharing some basic information about BreyerFest 2020 and asking for patience as they try to have the details of the online event hammered out by the end of April.
I bought my tickets back in January and like many people have a lot of questions as to how the online event will honor those. Will people who paid for the lounge or a parking pass get refunds? Will we have to pay shipping for the models that are included with the tickets? And so on.
As expected, there has been a bit of a run on buying tickets since the announcement. People who live too far away to travel or cannot get time off of work to go are now purchasing tickets. That makes sense - I'm happy that more people have an opportunity to "come" to BreyerFest, even though the reason it has become an online event is very sobering.
So now we sit and wait to hear what Breyer comes up with!
