Variation QH Yearling

I love spot variations on Breyer's Appaloosas so when I saw this QH Yearling on eBay, those spots caught my attention right away.
She has a chalky feel to her that is very different from the feel of my nine other examples of this mold, but I would not call her a chalky.
She is quite different from the rest of her sisters.
The white areas are very bright and the coat has a different feel and texture than my other QH Yearlings.
A comparison with my brown spotted QH Yearling. Both pieces have the USA stamp.
IYB and Nancy Young's book say the spots are black but I would call them chocolate. I prefer the chocolate spot color over the red brown.
I plan to do some research on her and see if I can figure out why she is different from my other pieces.
