The Music City Bowl - Purdue Wins!

A non horsey post from the holidays.

When Purdue's football team was invited to play against Tennessee in The Music City Bowl, I knew I wanted Craig to be able to go. It was only a six hour drive to Nashville and he could visit Music City Son Cole and Emily while he was there. So, I gave him tickets for the game.

I asked Teacher Daughter Lisa and Local Son Curt if they wanted to go, too. (Someone had to stay home with the dogs; that would be me.)

Curt couldn't go, but Lisa and Cole did! The game was played on her birthday and her ticket to the game was her gift from us.

They were way up in the nosebleed section, but that just meant they had a great view, right?

Apparently the steps up to their seats were really steep but Cole was still smiling when he found his seat. They were like the third or fourth row from the very tip top!

The Purdue All American Marching Band played during halftime. I have two former students who are in the band and on the field in this photo. (Not that I could pick them out from that far away, haha!)

Probably a good thing I stayed home with the dogs - I am terrified of heights.

As you can tell by those faces, they had a great time.

The game went into overtime with Purdue winning the game!

Cole may have been just a little excited by that.

I watched the game from home with the dogs. More on that tomorrow.

Stay 'tooned!
