I've kept Abby with Tim since I brought her home from Indiana Horse Rescue ten years ago.
"You forgot the treats? We're going back to the barn!" (I'd put my reenacting tent canvas in the trunk and forgotten I'd taken Abby's treats out to accommodate it.)
It's a great place to be. Time is passing and both Abby and Hokey are now in their twenties.
Hokey is starting to get a little bit grizzled.
I think Abby is too but it's harder to tell with her since she already has so much white in her coat.
Things change over time and getting older, horses or people, is one of them. But that's not the only thing that is changing at the barn. Actually, there are two major changes happening.
