Here Comes GLC!

The October Great Lakes Congress show is this Saturday and I am beyond excited.  Much as I love 18th century history and The Feast of the Hunters' Moon, at my core I'm a horsey girl.

I needed four or five days after the Feast to unpack, put away, and rest, and then I switched gears and began preparing for GLC.

I'm taking a very small show string of OF Plastic (above) and some Chinas. (Those are not sorted out yet.)

I'm also taking a Chevaliere to sell for best offer. (I have a second one to sell for best offer; if you are interested, email me at horsiemama8@gmail.com. All reasonable offers considered.)

Donations are being sorted out in another corner of my office, too.

And I've been sewing like crazy to beef up my stock of haversacks to sell.

Sassy Ponies

Pastel Day at the Races

National Parks (I may keep this one.)

Horse Racing Tickets

Flamingos

Jockey Silks (a remnant but I wasn't going to throw away perfectly good fabric just because the print would be sideways.)

Penguins & Polar Bears

Candy Cane Unicorns

Polar Bears

These are the Traditionals and Extra Long Traditionals I've made recently; I've sewn Classic, Curio, and Stablemate sized ones, too.

The haversacks are all packed and ready to go. I'm working on some breed documentation and need to pull out the chinas I want to take and then pack all the ponies into tubs. Car Jenga has begun as I have been bringing a tub with me every time I go downstairs.

I'm so looking forward to this Saturday!
