Many writers struggle to find topics to write about. My problem is usually the opposite - my desktop computer's monitor is covered in file folders and photos, most labeled by topic and full of photos that I might include in a blog post.
And I do use those ideas I have tucked away. Case in point - the glass blowing blog entries were written and then scheduled to post while I was away from my computer having this most recent surgery.
But I do have my moments when I struggle - some of the files have topics that will take multiple days to write about (the largest of those will be a 27 day project - almost a month!!) and sometimes (like now) I am looking for a simple, short topic that can be written and posted quickly.
I scroll through my recent texts and look for photos family and friends have sent me.

Nash last Friday at his self-imposed guard dog post keeping the fam safe
while Pepper stretches and relaxes, knowing that Nash has got us covered,
and steals some of the toys I'd bought and put aside for him to have another time. (Boy howdy, was I in the right place at the right time. Tammo was so engrossed with his "find" that he never noticed me standing there quietly just outside the door!)
For the first time post op, I took Pepper down to the park to play frisbee but I didn't have the energy to take any photos once we'd gotten there. (Too bad, it was sunny and beautiful!)
And when I got home, I found a surprise on the park bench by the front door.

I haven't felt up to hauling out the tub and putting the Valentine things away yet, so I put my Lego flowers on the table with some of them.
So, as you can see, I really don't have much to write about today (that 27 day project notwithstanding)
Hopefully tomorrow I will be back on my game.
