The Mutton Busting Champion

Cambria wasn't kidding when she said, "We do rodeos" a few weeks ago. She ended up being the Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Mutton Busting Champion!

All geared up and ready to rodeo.

While waiting in the stands, Cambria recorded a message for me. (I am glad that she "likes" me. That made me laugh.)

As her event got closer, she was called down to put on her helmet and other protective gear. You can just see the excitement on her face. 

 And then more waiting in the stands for her turn to ride.

She had a fantastic ride and earned 82 points! That ended up being the best ride of the day.

Cambria was presented a championship belt buckle...

... and had her photo taken with all the rodeo queens and her dad.

I am so proud of my little mutton buster. 

BreyerFest Week - BreyerFest Begins & More Breakables Wins

Tick! Tick! Tick! Tick! BreyerFest begins today - in just a little more than an hour! I think I am ready. I've budgeted some money to spend and I have made lists of things to do and what I want to buy.

I am hoping that the Slainte Surprise is a vintage mold or, if not that, a well-done vintage color on a newer mold. I listed it as my first choice for the Special Run tent, with Lugh second, and Thorn third (even though I wrote Oak on my list - I know who I meant!)

Liz Cory is a hobby history expert and I am looking forward to her seminar more than anything else. I plan to begin with that as my first BreyerFest activity. (Well, first I will click around the site so I can get the feel of it.) I had to check when my log in time for the Special Run tent was; it's at 3:00 this afternoon.

Last night the printed Breakables results came out with the Champions and Reserve Champions listed along with the Grand and Reserve Grand Champions of each show. I am thrilled to have won a couple.

I forgot to post a photo of Comann yesterday, but he won the Minis Other British Ponies class for Collectibility. And, he is the Minis Reserve Champion Pony/Draft for Collectibility!

 My big winner is Tinker Toy. Tinker Toy was named Reserve Champion for Collectibility in the Other Countryware Show and then went on to win Overall Reserve Grand Champion of the Other Countryware show!

Drat, the clock sure is moving slowly this morning! Tick! Tick! Tick! Tick!
