Look who is in the saddle!

 It's no surprise that Pony Pal Mila is taking a ride on the ponies at the Wabash Riverfest.

But this was a surprise!

 Ian got into the saddle and took a ride, too!

Last summer he was very hesitant about getting up on the ponies and ended up refusing to ride. Mila, (wearing her favorite Disney princess dress) however, hitched up her skirts and hopped into the saddle twice. (Go here to read that blog entry.)

 She wore another Disney princess dress this year to ride in.

I was so pleased that Ian got over his hesitation and rode the ponies this year.  He is not quite yet a Pony Pal (he's more interested in ninjas and superheroes) but maybe this was a beginning point for him.

My fingers are crossed!
