Family + Wreath + Picture = Great Afternoon

I am still under a weight restriction when it comes to lifting, and climbing on ladders or step stools is definitely verboten. So, yesterday when my son Curt came over for a visit, I asked him to help me change out the summer wreath on my front door for the autumn one.
He was able to get up to the highest shelves in the garage where I store my wreaths and pull out my autumn horse head.
I got it online from Back in the Saddle a year or so ago, and think it is beautiful. It is so different from other fall wreaths but it incorporates autumnal elements in a horsey way.

While waiting on his dad, Curt's son, Ian, drew me a picture.

He drew himself and then a horse ("It really doesn't look like a horse but it's a horse, Grammy"), and finally a picture of me labeled "G" for Grammy.

Family visiting, a little help doing something that I cannot do myself right now, and a keepsake picture to put on my fridge... It was a great afternoon.
