Jennifer Buxton: Karen Crossley's Alphabet

Jennifer Buxton contacted Anne Field and me a few days ago to discuss a final wrap up post she was writing about the Karen Crossley alphabet project. As is usual for Jennifer, it is well written and keeps the focus on the topic - honoring and remembering Karen. I am sure that you will enjoy it.

In November of 2019, Canadian hobbyist, Karen Crossley, launched an occasional blog series in which she discussed various members of her herd from A to Z.

She made it to H before passing away in July 2020.

2020 was a tough year, and her death was a real blow to the hobby blogging community.

Lynn Isenbarger, Anne Field and I decided to honor her memory by finishing her alphabet. I went first. 

Then I passed the baton to Lynn who passed it to Anne who passed it back to me.

And that's how it went for the next couple of years.

Last Saturday, Lynn wrote the last post in the series.

It took us thirty one months, but Karen's alphabet is complete.

Thank you for the inspiration, Karen. We still miss you!
