I spun the wheel four times, so we have four winners!
Yep, note that that title is plural - there is more than one winner for the October Give Away!
Of the 225 maple cakes I had on hand, I sold 159 of them at this year's Feast. That leaves me with 66 (well, 65 now since I am now eating one, hah!)
Honestly, I was surprised that I did not sell out like last year, but I checked my records and saw that I had taken 126 cakes in 2023 compared to the 225 cakes that I took this year.
So, the correct answer to the Give Away question was, "No."
Congratulations to the winner! And this month we are doing a runner up for those who guessed "Yes." (That was my guess, too.) Who will be our runner-up?
And hooray for the runner up winner as well!
But wait! Entered by didn't win either spin to win? Didn't enter but gosh, that maple cake I'm holding sure looks delicious and now wish that you had?
Folks, I have 63 leftover maple cakes, and while no doubt Santa will be putting some of them in my kids' stockings (they won't spoil any more than white sugar or salt will), I would be happy to send you a free maple cake for $1 to cover postage. Email me at horsiemama8@gmail.com and ask for my mailing address. I'd rather you pop a dollar bill into an envelope and send it to me rather than PayPal me. (Not sure what PayPal would think if I started getting lots of $1 payments so please mail me your dollar.)
