Currently her nice round sides and back make a nice holding place for the grooming brush. That's Teacher Daughter Lisa taking a break from remote teaching to groom and visit with Sultanna.
She's beginning to show some signs that she's getting closer to foaling - she's starting to bag up.
Despite being in the late stages of pregnancy, Sultanna still seems to be comfortable and continues to be very gentle and sweet.
Tim's done some work on the loafing shed and is letting the pasture in it grow up in preparation for the big day. He plans to move Sultanna in there along with Hokey when she foals.
He's installed a feeder for grain for mama and baby...
... and added some chunks of mineral blocks for them. We are about as ready as we can be.
But we know who is in really charge of that!
