That's one of my favorite photos of Zeus every taken. And sadly, he passed away from cancer just a few short weeks after that photo of him was taken.
Because I was home from school recovering, I got to spend the last weeks of his life with him, weeks that I treasure. Every day I sent my students an email, usually centered on the antics of Zeus helping me through my recovery. This one is a favorite. (Check out the blog comment after it from my son, Curt. LOL)
Craig once said, "Zeus isn't a dog; he's a friend."
And that pretty much sums up our Zeus.
Rest in peace, Zeus. You are still very much loved and missed.
