First Post of the Day
The news from my appointment with my orthopedic surgeon is mixed. New x-rays were taken and a cam deformity with impingement was confirmed.
But, I still have good range of motion in the hip,
and because of that, there is an option that I can try before we go down the surgical road. I took that option - an injection into the hip joint, just like the sacroiliac joint injections I am having. That could calm things down and give me some time before I need surgery.
And more good news, the doctor who does the sacroiliac joint injections for me will be doing the hip injection. Those injections are very intense, but she's good and they are over quickly. I hope that likewise the hip injection will be over fast, too, and that it will help with the pain.
