A Crazy Clock & the Upcoming Sales Post

I enjoy having a real, old fashioned, analog clock in my office and sewing rooms. Especially when I am sewing, it is so much easier to be able to simply glance at the clock rather than drop what I am doing and check my phone.

Knowing this, Craig gifted me with a clock that he ordered at Thanksgiving but which just finally arrived.

Looks pretty good, right? I love that it has our name and anniversary on it and was excited to hang it in the sewing room.

Except... there was a problem. Whoever affixed the battery holder/hanger on the back, goofed.

They lined it up so the the horse's head was upright which sort of makes sense if you 1) don't know to look at the hind legs to orient it, and 2) can't read an analog clock (or Roman numerals) to know the XII/12 should be at the top.

Craig is shipping it back for a replacement today. Fingers crossed that the next one is aligned better.

Before I move on to information on the models going up for sale today, I do want to thank you all for the comments and emails about yesterday's post describing my diagnosis. Please know that they meant a lot to me.

Finally, here is what you need to know if you want to buy any models I list here.  All models come from my personal collection.

Today's Sales Post will be Posting at 10:00 AM EST

In order to be fair to all, I have scheduled today's sales models to post on the blog at 10:00 AM EST. I am also posting the sales models on my Facebook page, Horsiemama's Haversacks & Mercantile at the same time in an effort to be fair to both groups of people.

You will see a variety of pictures and a brief description of the models. Today's listing is a mare and foal set.

I will do my best to describe flaws but be aware that I do not always see them until someone points them out. Having said that, I will do my utmost to describe pieces as best I can.

To buy, send an email to horsiemama8@gmail.com. (This applies to those on Facebook, too.) If more than one person wants the models, I will go in time stamp order.

Payment is due via PayPal Goods & Services (sorry, no other payment accepted) within 48 hours after I send you an email accepting the sale. If no payment has been sent by the end of 48 hours, I will move on to the next person, again in time stamp order.

I will ship ASAP either USPS or UPS, whichever has the better rate. (I use Pirate Ship.) Shipping costs are not included in the sale price and are the buyer's responsibility. PLMK if you wish to add insurance.

Thank you! See you at 10:00 EST!
