Surprise! More Tickets!

I was surprised earlier this week to receive another set of tickets to BreyerFest. I had ordered them back when I thought I'd be attending BreyerFest and was thinking I might bring Craig or my sister.

I'd totally forgotten about them and so when they arrived, I thought they were a mistake and was going to return them. Luckily I checked my Breyer account before I popped them back into the mail.

The All Access and the General Admission ticket books are the same aside from color differences. The GA is a light mint green while to AA is white. (Go here to see photos and comments about the AA book.)

The punch cards for choices are inside.

I like Wheeler's color the best and Teamster's mold the most so I hope to get one of those two. I don't really collect Stablemates so I won't be disappointed regardless.

I was a little sad when they arrived. Things had changed since I'd ordered my tickets. With the way my health has been, I didn't think I would be up to attending BreyerFest with all the heat, humidity, long walks, and crowds, so I had already decided to stay home.

 Then I got a very exciting text.

BreyerFest: Selling Show Aprons

BreyerFest is two and a half weeks away and the model horse hobby is in its usual pre-BreyerFest scramble. Hobbyists are finishing custom models to sell, prepping for the BreyerFest Live show, sorting and packing sales items... The list goes on.

I'm not one of those prepping for BreyerFest. My rush and scramble was in April when I was working to meet the deadline to complete my virtual seminar and send it in to Breyer. And since I'm not going to BreyerFest, I have no need to be sorting sales models or finishing haversacks to sell. But I am being affected by BreyerFest nonetheless. 

Due to Breyer's advertising of the virtual seminars, I am getting requests to make live show aprons.

I thought I might get requests for them after BreyerFest, but I did not anticipate that happening before folks had seen the video during BreyerFest.

I am not complaining.

Just surprised. (Barn Buddy Kelsey has those pockets stuffed full.)

I have a tub of leftover pieces of fabric 

and making show aprons is an excellent way to use those remnants.

I've finished all apron and haversack orders

so now I can get back to sewing 18th century clothing.

Because The Feast of the Hunters' Moon is fast approaching!
