We were traveling for almost two weeks and when we got home, Abby was awfully glad to see me.
She saw my car coming down the lane and was heading to the gate before I'd even had time to park the car.
I think she missed me her candy canes.
Tim seemed to think she'd prefer a different treat while I was out of town.
But I stuck with the candy canes and she had no complaints.
It was good to be with her again - there were horses at the rodeo, but they weren't MY horses. (She has such a distinctive tail swish - up and down instead of side to side.)
There was also a surprise at the barn when I returned from my trip. Well, actually, not one surprise, but TWO.
