Hello, Monday!

It's Monday and it's going to be a busy week. I'm heading to the Great Lakes Congress show this weekend and have been stitching up haversack orders like crazy to deliver there.

They are stacked in piles around the sewing room and need to be wrapped up and labeled so I can get them to their new owners at the show.

I've concluded the GLC fundraiser that ran this month and need to go through my books and figure out what the final amount of the donation will be.

A long time friend is paring down her collection and hobby items and has asked if I would find homes for her things.

Fedex delivered four boxes from her this weekend and I have only opened two of them but am blown away by the goodies inside. (Including bag after bag of beautifully made tack. Look for some upcoming giveaways soon!)

I've begun pulling models that are heading to GLC and am working on documentation for them.

Those clothes racks are 18th century clothing that I am stitching up for a re-enacting event in June. As soon as the GLC show is over, I need to put aside the haversack sewing and get busy preparing for that event.

Finally, I have to run down to Indy this week, have two doctors' appointments, and while Tim is back and I am no longer in charge of the barn, I still will be heading out to visit the horses.

It's 5:30 AM Monday morning and already I am feeling a little worn out from my busy week!

  1. Oh it almost hurts me to hear about "bag after bag" of homeless tack. I want to get into performance showing very badly, but my budget for tack just isn't big enough right now. Maybe someday, but it will be a long time. Tack costs so much, it's really hard to get a foothold in performance showing. Hope you are able to rehome all that stuff! Your pony pouches are beautiful, hope you get good news at the doctor! :)
