Sorry to have missed yesterday - it bothers me when I don't write daily. Not only do I enjoy connecting with all of you, but my blogs function as my journals (which is why I began blogging way back in 2008 in my first blog.)
Often after I've had one of those really bad migraines and my hands have gone numb or lost their function, it seems to take a day or two to get the function back fully. My hands are weak and uncoordinated, and typing is difficult. Then going back and correcting all those typos... it gets overwhelming and my hands feel weaker and weaker the longer I type or make corrections. (One of these days I am just going to leave my typing as is so you can see just how bad that typing can be.)
So, if you see a typo, please be understanding and let it pass.
Cute doggie picture for fun. That's Craig with Nash (on couch), Molly (yellow Lab) and Pepper.
Meanwhile, I am working on some projects that are taking a lot of time. They, too, have been slowed down by all this drama with the numbness and loss of function in my hands. Several have had deadlines, and Barn Buddy Kelsey came over to help me finish one of them. (Thank you!!)
She also helped set up my new ring light so I could see better while sewing or take better photos at 5:00 AM, my prime picture time! Hah!
Another cute Nashie picture.
While there is still another upcoming long term project with a deadline, a more immediate project is preparing for Clover City Classic which is in early June. Not only am I showing, but I am taking Horsiemama's Mercantile and selling there. Recent sales have been very good and I need to sew and restock. Like journaling, that is becoming more and more dependent on the status of my hands, but there is still time for me to get that done before the show.
My sewing buddy keeps me company while I sew.
Fingers crossed that my hands will be 100% tomorrow when I write. Stay 'tooned!
So glad to get the news! Best wishes for healing and a long happy career still to come.
