It may not quite be Keeneland, but our family went to the race track to celebrate BreyerFest week.
And they're off! By the time I made this video, all the cowpokes and pony pals were experienced at horse racing.

I grabbed some ribbons from old horse shows and gave them to the kids to use at the end of each race.

At the end of our day at "Keeneland," I was pleased that the grands decided to trade the ribbons around so that everyone got some of each color.
I actually bought this racing set to use at Happy Trails 5 but then I discovered the Toilet Paper Derbies and decided to go for that. I still may bring this just for fun, maybe for people to play with at lunch.
