First Post of the Day
Yesterday morning we heard a very loud THUNK somewhere in the house. It seemed to come from upstairs and Nash was up there, so we assumed he had bumped something over. A quick check showed that all was well, so we went about our day.
It was't until Lisa came by to get her dogs that evening that we discovered what had made that noise.
So, now we wait. We have a busy day ahead of us - Craig's cousin passed away this week and family is coming in, including another cousin who is staying with us until Tuesday. One of us will need to stay home for the repair person so that the other can go to the family activities.
And, I'd told Lisa I'd help her find some carnival glass today - she was in New York City for Fall Break and stayed with a friend who has a passion for it. She'd like to find some as a thank you gift for hosting her.
Today is going to be a day where we all have to be flexible as we work around being grounded.
Stay 'tooned on that!

It’s always surprising when those springs break!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't Nash--!!
ReplyDeleteGlad the THUNK wasn't anything worse, but wow. Very frustrating to have to work around this. :(
ReplyDeleteOoh, carnival glass! I remember seeing so much of that when visiting Aunt Grace in Ohio!
ReplyDeleteHope you get “ungrounded” soon!
