Yesterday Breyer made an announcement for an upcoming Fall event.
SCHEDULE
10:00-10:30 -Trinity Honaker from Infinity Breyers: Ghost and Candy Corn Costume Workshop
10:30-10:45 - Meet & Greet with Trinity
11:00-11:30 - Janine Haq: Skeleton Stablemate Workshop (pre-recorded)
12:00-12:45/1:00 - Kirsty Thiessen- Zombie Stablemates Workshop
1:00-1:15 - Meet & Greet with Kristy
1:30-2:00 - Lauren Hoeffer: Decorate your Barn for Halloween
2:00-2:15 - Meet & Greet with Lauren
Sounds like fun, right? Except...
... my own Happy Trails IV is happening the same day.
I announced the date way back in January of this year and have a list of people who have confirmed that they are coming.
So, now those folks have to make a choice - come to Happy Trails, attend Breyer's event at a brick and mortar store, or stay home and attend Breyer's event virtually.
Honestly, if someone prefers the Breyer event over Happy Trails, I will understand. If people really are conflicted between my event and Breyer's, then maybe it would be possible to have the two events going simultaneously with Breyer's event going on a laptop or something.
I'll figure something out, so stay 'tooned!
That's too bad that the local Breyer National Fun Day conflicts with your show date. We don't even have a Fun Day scheduled here in New York. :(
ReplyDeleteIsn't that exasperating! Apparently 2 weekends before Halloween is prime territory... It's the old conflict between the screen and the book/piano/anything other than a screen. To try and accommodate both is difficult, but may work.
