Second Post of the Day

Longears - elves or equids is today's Yuletide prompt. Easy peasy!

Abby had normal sized ears, but depending on the photo, they could seem bigger than they were. (I loved those heart markings over her eyes.)

Sometimes the camera angle or the position of her head made them look longer than they were.

I'm a longear, too - I've been told that my ears are too big for my head since I was a child. I was very self conscious of them when growing up, and in some ways I still am.

So, you could say that she and I were a pair of longears! I don't mind that a bit.

I even tried to emulate hers one day...

Not really. This was actually an accidental photo that has become one of my favorites ever taken of Abby and me. I was taking a selfie with her and Sultanna stepped up behind me at the perfect moment!

I miss you, sweet Longears.
