Yuletide Challenge: Ceramic Saturnalia Steeds

Second Post of the Day

I was not familiar with Saturnalia, although I could make a guess that it was centered on the planet Saturn. In reality, it was a wild and rather frenzied ancient Roman festival that honored the god, Saturn. Heavy drinking and feasting, gambling, wearing costumes and more were its hallmarks.

Unless I created some sort of scene, I was toast on this one. Plus, there was the caveat that ceramic pieces were to be used.

Still, I went into the sewing room and opened the cabinet where I keep my china minis. Surprised, I noticed that I did have several pieces that might work. They were garish, outlandish, unusual, costumed...

And there you go! I don't celebrate Saturnalia, but I just might go feast on some chocolate and drink a Dr. Pepper Cream Soda Zero. LOL

Cheers!
