A friend sent me a very unusual birthday card last month, one I have had out on display.
Carousel horses! Aren't they lovely? And when you open the card,
there is a beautifully crafted pop up carousel scene. Thanks so much, Heather! Heather is also battling a brain tumor and has young children. That she would take time to do something like this for me speaks volumes about her. Neat lady.
Something that made me smile recently:
That's not just a grassy field (and one that would be great for horses.) That's part of the grounds for The Feast of the Hunters' Moon. Set up began yesterday for this year's event, even though The Feast is more than two weeks away. If you look closely, you can see two stakes already pounded into the ground marking the placement of something.
